Festival Days are at the heart of Words Out West, bringing together authors, speakers and storytellers for a weekend of ideas, creativity and connection.
Across two incredible days, Festival Days invite audiences to experience storytelling in all its forms. From inspiring conversations and thought-provoking panels to hands-on workshops and intimate sessions, the program offers something for readers, writers and curious minds alike.
Festival Days 2026 in Chinchilla saw a standout lineup including Virginia Trioli, Heather Morris and more. Festival-goers had the opportunity to hear directly from some of Australia’s most engaging voices, sharing stories, insights and experiences in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.
Whether it is discovering a new favourite author, diving deeper into the craft of writing or simply enjoying the energy of a room full of story lovers, Festival Days create a space for ideas to be shared and connections to be made.
